Necessary Skills
• Ensures that the numbers and qualifications of personnel available to provide services are sufficient to meet the needs of the clients.
• Ensures that policies and procedures meet federal, state and accrediting organizations’ regulations and standards.
• Implements agency policies and procedures.
• Provides timely documentation and meets professional standards of practice.
• Educates community to the agency programs by interacting with numerous individuals and groups.
• Ensures clients’ rights and dignity are maintained at all times.
• Determines staffing needs: recruits, selects, hires and orients office staff.
• Delegate’s authority to supervisory staff.
• Disciplines and terminates departmental employees in accordance with company policies.
• Establishes and maintains open, effective communication between departments.
• Evaluates admissions/discharges/transfers.
• Coordinates training of supervisory staff.
• Guides and motivates staff members.
• Drives continuous improvement effort
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BSA, BSN, etc.) or equivalent required and 1-2 years of experience in care service management.
• Ability to pass State background screening, possess driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Competent in time and organizational management
• Ability to drive census growth and generate revenue
• Proven history of successfully managing a team required
• This position requires supervision of 10+ office personnel.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal skills to supervise staff.
